The LSAA 2009 Conference and Design Awards were held in Melbourne at the Victorian Arts Centre.
The sit visit included inspecting the spire and lower "skirt" of the Arts Centre (Designed by Sir Roy Grounds with the spire design by Peter Kneen through John Connell - later Aurecon).
A pleasant stroll across the Botanical Gardens took us to an early wonderful example of a cablenet structure - the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
